It was critical to drop the weight. Saving my life became most important thing i would ever do in my life. Letting go of dumbshit, stupid shit, bull shit, fuck shit, and really focusing on me, was super important. I needed to grow into what GOD meant for me to be. What my kids needed me to be and most importantly grow into what I needed me to be.
Acknowledging my poor habits and changing them was MAJOR. I had to 1st admit that I was a food addict. I had first to admit that my poor habits stemmed from trauma that I kept repeating. Trauma that I held on to. Trauma I allowed to control my life. I refused to let go and forgive. I kept drowning myself in victimization chants. I buckled down for 9months became super strict on my food intake and spent time learning myself. I dropped 110lbs in 9 months.
I started the moment reality sat in . The moment the light bulb when off is when I jumped in. No one could push me, I had to be willing to understand what was happening in my life so I could change it. The moment reality of my health declining sat in mixed with physical inability to care for my disabled son, that is when I jumped off the cliff and said, FUCK IT! It's go time. I can't be young and incapable. The two don't match in the same sentence together.
Yes, this is a scary path! Yes it's a path that is unknown and uncomfortable. That's more of a reason for you to come join my crew. We are understanding, nonjudgemental and super supportive. You will be held accountable, BUT, we will love you through your journey.

Over the past 2yrs, I've been walking down my health & wellness journey with Coach Libra. What started as a weight loss journey turned into a full-on journey of self-discovery! Coach Libra is more than just a fitness coach, she is a full-on life coach. She taps into all aspects of your life and helps you conquer those challenges that you thought helped. She teaches the value unconquerable of and the power of self-love living a healthy lifestyle through workouts and a healthy diet.
I am proud to say in the 2 years I've lost over 35lbs following her workout and diet regime! In the beginning, I was very hesitant to fully let go and trust this new process. However, being of in the fitmom community she created has provided me a part with a different level of love & support from a woman who was also navigating their challenges. Having the community to lean on and share experiences with has been key as I navigated through these new situations. It has also been a great way to keep me accountable for my goals.
